The album was the result of the band borrowing equipment from Soft Machine. And what an amazing album they have put forward! One of the most enjoyable prog albums from the 60s that I have heard yet. No technical wankeries, no 10 mins long keyboard solos that go nowhere, this album has solos and instrumentations precisely as long as they should be.
